Community Midwives

Maternity care is shared with the Community Midwives, normally Tracy Brame. We provide antenatal care and classes along with postnatal care. In some instances the District Midwives may attend a Hospital confinement. Antenatal clinics are held on Tuesday's at Ayton Surgery

Community Nurses

A team of District Nurses are attached to the Surgery and are responsible for the provision of a wide range of nursing services in the community. They can be contacted on 01653 609609 or a message can be left at the Surgery reception.

Health Visitors

Elizabeth Bull is involved with the care of children and support of the family.

She organises Child Health Clinics at Snainton Village Hall in the 1st Thursday of the month 14:00 – 15:30 and at East Ayton Children's Centre located behind East Ayton Primary School on Monday afternoons 13:30 – 14:45
